HistorySince the 1950's we at Laing worked in the area of heat and fluid mechanics. Initially established as an institute for research and development, the second generation of the family business turned the company into a production facility. We have grown step by step with our requirements. The latest step is the invention of the electronically commutated spherical motor principle in 2003. In 2009, Laing became a proud member of the ITT Corporation.
