Sanitation or retrofit installation of floor heatingProblems with accumulation of mud caused by diffusion can be fixed by installing a Laing heat exchanger. They are also useful for retrofit installations in an apartment house. A low temperature heating system can be connected to a boiler loop using a heat exchanger or mixing module. Control valves and circulators for the low temperature loop are integrated. Completely pre-assembled substations are available with manifolds and expansion tanks (open or pressurized) in a cabinet or on mounting rails. A comprehensive range of control units are available for all systems. Advantages when using the Laing heat exchangerMaximum system safety are attributed due to the complete separation of the boiler loop from the floor heating loop, no corrosion due to oxygen diffusion, no accumulation of mud, no clogging of copper pipe heat exchanger, limited water damage if floor heating loop is damaged. Considerable cost advantages for multi-story buildings due to hydraulic separation from static pressure of primary system. Advantages when using the Laing mixing modulesThe mixing modules are a low-cost system with several different models for use in oxygen-diffusion proof floor heating systems with additional hydraulic adjustment capabilities. Due to the compact, space-saving design (installation in recess or wall mounted cabinet) and the use of the long-term low-noise Laing spherical motor pump, the system can be installed directly in the living area. This results in a very simple system design, as the substation can be connected directly to the boiler loop. A separate low temperature loop from the boiler to the floor heating manifold is not necessary. Also, the boiler manifolds and the mixing valve for the floor heating loop are eliminated. If the BM2 substation is used in individual installations no boiler pump is required. The tiny BM mini is suitable for small floor heating up to approx. 20 sqm. Electrical heatingWith increasing gas and oil prices, electrical heating is becoming more cost-effective. Compared with other heat systems, electrical heating has low acquisition and installation costs. Therefore, electrical heating is a useful backup heating system for all rooms, apartments or houses that are used only temporarily – like summer or winter residences, or in areas with special electricity costs. It can be activated easily by just pressing the power button. Your customer has no need to think about the oil level or the connection to the public gas line. It also does not require a special heater room. |
