Laing control units are specially designed for use with floor heating systems. Additional safety devices are built into all Laing control units are standard to prevent overheating damage to the system. The LED display enables easy checking of the operating condition of the system or as a possible malfunction, which in turn allows simple and quick servicing. All Laing control units have an almost stepless pump speed control to adjust the pump performance to the system requirements in each case. The versions for the heat exchangers and mixing modules contain a thermoelectric drive (“V“ in the model designation), which is operated by the control unit in such a way that intermediate positions of the valve in the station are possible. Thus a constant and sensitive temperature control with minimum oscillations is possible. Aside from constant, room and outside temperature guided control units Laing offers two special control units, which contain a wide range of applications: Remote control FR 10 V: This module enables Laing heat exchangers and mixing modules to work with third party 2-point or 3-point controls. In this way, the second channel of an outside temperature guided boiler control can be used to control the floor heating system. Step-down control UR10/UR10 V: The step-down control UR10 drives the outside temperature from the boiler feed temperature in systems with an outside temperature guided boiler loop. The floor heating system will follow the boiler feed temperature, but on a lower temperature slope, without a separate outside temperature sensor.
